Transport is a critical necessity in the country and organizations, presenting challenges for professionals in this field, especially drivers.
Drivers face emotional, psychological, and spiritual challenges on the roads, testing their spiritual integrity. The church has taken the initiative to mentor this group, ensuring their spiritual well-being.
The Drivers Ministry brings together both professional and amateur drivers, providing moral and spiritual support. The group, consisting of drivers and well-wishers, plays a crucial role in offering spiritual nurturing.
Transport is a key need in the country and in an organization; at the same time, it comes with a number of challenges, especially for the professionals who move this system. Drivers face numerous challenges on the roads, emotionally, psychologically, and spiritually. They are tempted in various ways, challenging their spiritual uprightness. This is the group that the church has committed to mentoring to ensure that they are spiritually upright.
The church has therefore established the Drivers Ministry as a group that brings together drivers in the church, both professionals and amateurs. It’s a group that provides moral support as well as spiritual nurturing. The group includes both professional drivers and amateur drivers, in addition to well-wishers. The church itself utilizes transport in its various development activities, including farming and business.
As the motto states, “Driver omutimagwange kekamwa kamukama, Tugolokoke tuwereze mukama,” drivers in the world do according to their flesh, but looking at drivers in church, their goal is to please GOD and serve him always.
