The elderly ladies who have lost their husbands but chose to stay single for the rest of their lives are the first group of people given a sense of belonging to and defined as Brides of Christ. Similarly, the ladies abandoned by their husbands and those chased by their would-be husbands all subscribe to this ministry. From Isaiah 54:5, ‘Your Creator will be like a husband to you. The LORD Almighty is His name. The Holy God of Israel will save you- He is the ruler of all the world.’ These Brides enter into a covenant with Christ, and He alone is their Husband.

These Brides of Christ are therefore in a continuous state of preparing to meet their Husband (Christ), purifying themselves each and every time, maintaining a focused mind on Christ in all their actions and speech.

After the loss of a husband, widows often experience trauma, grief, and deep sorrow, potentially leading to negative thoughts and actions. However, in this Church, this Ministry finds significance in catering to these ladies and redefining their focus, striving to overcome sin and keeping all their hope vested in Christ.

They are charged with the responsibility of praying to their husband (God) for the rest of the children in the church, praying for all people, and purifying oneself in continuous preparation to meet their only Husband.
