The Cherubim Ministry is a unique group within the church, comprised of individuals involved in singing. From the main church choir to junior choirs and those representing different ministries at various levels, such as sub-zonal, zonal, and national levels, all participants fall under the Cherubim Ministry.
This ministry focuses on composing, recording, and singing songs with a dual purpose – to entertain and bring joy while also serving as a reminder of the preached message.
There is a unique ministry to which people belong by their involvement in singing in church. Usually, every church has a choir (Church Choir), alongside several other choirs ranging from junior choirs to choirs from the different ministries.
The same arrangement is followed even at the higher levels, like sub-zonal level, zonal level, and national level, with every subzone, every zone, and every ministry having a choir. All the participants in these choirs are under the ministry referred to as Cherubim Ministry. They are principally driven by the role of composing, recording, and singing for the masses. The songs are characterized by the sermon that has been preached before, and away from the entertainment and joy, they equally serve to remind the listeners of the particular sermon.
Songs are composed in all dialects from all parts to which the gospel has been extended to the outside world. However, there is a code of conduct maintained by these Cherubim in regard to the type of music produced, the dress code (uniforms), behavior, among others.
