Ministry: Davids

Davids' Ministry

The Davids Ministry, inspired by Acts 13:22, centers around young boys, male youths, and youthful men dedicated to fulfilling God's will. Initiated in 1999 by Prophet David, the then youth leader, the ministry focuses on nurturing God-fearing and righteous individuals.

Guided by the prophecy of Prophet Noah Kalange, the ministry emphasizes the youth's role in spreading the gospel and serving the Lord through various activities, including church construction and evangelism. Similar to King David's devotion, these young individuals actively engage in church activities, holding leadership positions, participating in fundraising, and supporting charitable endeavors.

What are the Davids (Ba Daudi)

From Acts 13:22, the last line ‘I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after My own heart, who will do all My will’ marks the identity of this Ministry. Davids refers to the young boys, male youths and youthful men who portray themselves as strong people committed to doing God’s will at all times.

Its existence hails from Prophet Noah Kalange’s prophesy that: after him, the youths will take over the gospel, preaching and serving the lord.
Certainly in 1999, the gift of David’s descended and was initiated into the church by Prophet David, the then youth leader.
He then mobilized the youth first to be God fearing, embrace righteousness and serve the lord through church construction and extension of the gospel to all nations and tribes.

Similarly, taking King David a great man of God in the bible as a reference, the boys who are still in the youthful age present themselves with a devotion to using all their strength to serve God no matter the cost.
These are always at the forefront of most of the activities carried out in church, inclusive of evangelism, in positions of High Priests, Preachers, Pastors and overseers, then at the forefront in fundraising, helping the needy and all other works pertaining edification of the church of Christ.

This ministry unites these people in one accord, in that they can team up for a common cause. It allows for easy offer of help in case of personal challenges, and prompt information flow for the members of the ministry.

The teachings and counsel offered by the ministry are the guiding factors for these people’s good conduct and lifestyle.
For example, the Youths are not to engage in any love affairs or sexual relationships before marriage. Unity and decency are some of the key factors that this group puts to the front.
