The Kayunga Mega Gospel Crusade Outreach has officially been launched today by Prophet David, marking the beginning of a transformative spiritual mission set to culminate on 8th June 2025 at Saza Grounds, Kayunga. This event promises to ignite the hearts of many with the truth of the Gospel and a call to righteousness.
Following the launch, Prophet David delivered a deeply stirring sermon centered on the Kingdom of God. His message emphasized the power of the Gospel to change even the most hardened hearts, drawing on the example of Saul who became Paul—a former persecutor turned apostle.
The Transformative Power of the Gospel
Prophet David passionately taught that the Gospel can reach even those who are demon-possessed or deeply entrenched in sin. He cited 1 Corinthians 1:5, criticizing the reliance on religious rituals like baptism and circumcision without true spiritual transformation. “Many who have been baptized still live in sin—thieves, rapists, defilers—some bearing Christian names, yet imprisoned,” he pointed out.
According to Romans 1:5, he boldly declared that it is the Word of God, not water, that holds the power to remove sin. He stated, “I am not ashamed of preaching the Word because it is the power of God to those who believe.”

Condemning Empty Religious Rituals
He reechoed his concern with religious doctrines that emphasize external practices while neglecting true obedience to God. “Even if one is baptized or circumcised, without doing the will of God, judgment awaits,” he warned. No sacrifice—animal or otherwise—can replace genuine righteousness, he emphasized.
He added that even Jesus prioritized the preaching of the Gospel over rituals. “John baptized with water, but Jesus and the apostles were sent to preach the good news. And that’s exactly what I am doing today.”
Culture vs. Faith: A Call for Separation
Prophet David strongly condemned the blending of culture with faith, citing cultural practices like witchcraft, human sacrifice, and drunkenness. He questioned how cultural institutions can promote such evils while claiming moral authority. “Culture and faith are not compatible,” he stated.
He drew a contrast between the canonical prophets who preached righteousness and Jesus, whose Gospel transformed lives. “The Gospel promotes one man, one woman, and turns people—young and old—into God-fearing individuals.”
Righteous Living and True Faith
The Prophet made it clear: all sin, big or small, carries consequences. He explained that righteousness must be coupled with faith and action, using the parable of two children—one obeys when sent, the other does not—to illustrate what true belief looks like.
He warned Ugandans and the global community to abandon ancestor worship, shrine visits, fornication, and devil worship, urging a return to righteousness. He lamented the reverence of animals as clan totems, like monkeys and snakes, saying, “How can we fear creatures and forget our Creator?”
Critique of Religious Practices and Pilgrimages
Prophet David criticized the glorification of saints whose lives were not aligned with godly values. He cited Matthew 23:25, likening the mourners of saints at shrines to the Pharisees—outwardly holy, yet inwardly corrupt. He challenged the legitimacy of Namugongo pilgrimages, claiming such acts mirror the same sins of those who persecuted early Christian martyrs.

A Prophetic Mission for Uganda and the World
He proclaimed that Uganda, once despised, has now been chosen by God to be the epicenter of righteousness, with Prophet David as His anointed messenger. Through verses like Romans 1:26-28 and Isaiah 1:2, he warned of the dangers of rebellion, lesbianism, and ungodliness that led to God’s rejection of Israel and turning to the Gentiles.
He described the modern human condition as spiritually disabled, but assured believers that God has empowered him to heal and deliver captives. Referring to Jeremiah 17:9, he illustrated the deceitful nature of the human heart with relatable stories about family betrayal and secret-keeping.
Urgent Call for Spiritual Awakening
Quoting Daniel 12:10, he encouraged the righteous to cleanse and sanctify themselves, acknowledging that the wicked will remain unchanged unless they turn to the Gospel. Prophet David invited all to attend the climax of the crusade on June 8th, urging everyone to receive this message of transformation.
He referenced Jeremiah 15:19-22, affirming that God protects those who separate the precious from the vile, and promised divine backing in his mission. Like the apostles in Acts 4:23, he too is being persecuted—but he is undeterred, for God fights his battles.
Final Blessing and Call to Support
The sermon concluded with a heartfelt prayer for over one hundred new converts and a blessing for the saints. Prophet David encouraged them to support their families, contribute to the church, and aid in building Uganda as a nation. He proudly declared that their church seeks no foreign aid—it is a mission by Ugandans for the world.
