In his address during the thanksgiving ceremony at UAFCR’s Jinja headquarters, Prophet David shared a powerful message about the trials that the Universal Apostles Fellowship Church of Righteousness has faced throughout its history. Just like the prophets of old, the church has encountered opposition, false accusations, and attempts to undermine its mission. However, through the grace of God, UAFCR has not only survived but flourished.

Prophet David spoke about the false allegations made against him and the church, much like the trials faced by Prophet Noah in his time. Enemies of the church had accused Prophet David of organizing a rebellion against the government and collecting money to purchase plots of land in heaven. These baseless claims were aimed at discrediting the church and its leader, but Prophet David remained resolute, always putting his trust in God. He reminded the congregation that just as Jesus was not accepted in His homeland, prophets often face resistance and false accusations.
Prophet David spoke about the internal guidelines that help keep the church community strong. These include rules against adultery, fornication, theft, and dishonesty. By upholding these principles, the church ensures the well-being of its members, protecting them from the consequences of immoral behavior. The Ten Commandments serve as a foundation for these rules, ensuring that the church remains a beacon of righteousness in a world filled with sin.
The church’s legal battles were also mentioned, particularly the issue of heavy taxes imposed on the church every five years due to its registration as a Non-Government Organization (NGO). However, Prophet David shared the good news that President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni had promised to resolve this issue, affirming that a church should be registered as a church and not as an NGO. This was seen as a victory for the church, further highlighting God’s protection and favor.
In addition to external challenges, Prophet David spoke about the internal guidelines that help keep the church community strong.

As the church continues to grow, with new open crusades planned in regions like Northern Uganda, Bunyoro, Masaka, Kayunga, Jinja, and Kampala, Prophet David urged the saints to remain vigilant and united. He thanked the church members for their steadfast faith and their commitment to spreading the gospel, encouraging them to believe in God and the prophets to receive blessings and prosperity (2 Chronicles 20:20).
Despite the challenges, UAFCR stands strong, confident in its mission to glorify God and spread His word. Prophet David’s message was one of hope, resilience, and unwavering faith in the face of adversity.
