The Universal Apostles Fellowship Church of Righteousness (UAFCR) hosted a two-day thanksgiving event on September 28-29, 2024, at its Jinja headquarters. The occasion was dedicated to praising and thanking God for the success of the 2nd Patriotic Youth Mega Gospel Crusade, which had been held earlier that month on September 8, 2024, at the Kirama Memorial Grounds in Kaliro District.

This thanksgiving event was an incredible spectacle, beautifully decorated with eye-catching colors of pure white and red, creating an atmosphere that was both celebratory and reverent. Large tents were set up to accommodate the multitude of saints who had gathered for the occasion, not only from Uganda but also from across the world. Saints from Northern Uganda, Eastern Uganda, Central Uganda, and Southern Uganda attended in person, while others from the diaspora, including nations like Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, South Sudan, the USA, Canada, and the Netherlands, participated online through the church’s social media platforms like YouTube, TikTok, and Facebook.
He took time to extend his appreciation to key figures, including President Yoweri K. Museveni, who had served as the guest of honor at the youth crusade.
The event opened with choirs performing songs of praise and worship, celebrating the goodness of God. Some of the choirs included Blessed Choir, David’s Choir Universal, Holy Trinity Choir, Ankole Choir, Servants Choir, New Blood Choir, and many more. The mood was elevated even further with the triumphant arrival of Prophet David, the spiritual leader of the church, who was greeted with joyful songs, dancing, trumpet blasts, and heartfelt hallelujahs from the crowd.

Prophet David began his message by quoting Ecclesiastes 12:1, encouraging the youth to remember their Creator in their early years. He took time to extend his appreciation to key figures, including President Yoweri K. Museveni, who had served as the guest of honor at the youth crusade. He also thanked the various political leaders, priests, overseers, apostles, pastors, and all saints from far and wide who had made the event a success. Prophet David emphasized that the gathering was for thanking and glorifying the name of God, and he drew parallels between the thanksgiving practices of the ancient Israelites and the modern saints of UAFCR.
